1. What is Kate AI Estimator? 

Kate AI Estimator is a smart addon that creates professional job estimates instantly by analyzing photos or descriptions of the work. It handles the math and paperwork for you, helping you give customers prices on the spot and win more jobs. 

2. Is there a cost to use Kate AI Estimator add on? 

Kate AI Estimator is currently free during beta. Once beta ends, it will be offered at $30/month, which includes up to 200 estimates per month — designed to help you respond faster, close more jobs, and increase your average ticket size. 

3. How do I enable the Kate AI Estimator? 

You can manage it by going to Add-ons section. There is a simple ON/OFF toggle to enable or disable the Kate AI estimator.

4. How does the Upload Photos feature work? 

Pro uploads a photo of the job site. The AI analyzes the scope of work, identifies necessary materials, and estimates labor hours to build a detailed estimate automatically.

5. Can I use Kate AI Estimator without a photo? 

Yes. In addition to photos, you can simply describe the job via text or voice, and Kate AI will process those details to generate the estimate.

6. Which industries is Kate AI Estimator built for? 

It is designed for a wide range of field services, including:

• Cleaning: Carpet/Tile, Gutter, Junk Removal, Maid Service, Pressure Washing, Window Cleaning.

• Home Improvement: Electrical, Handyman, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing, General Contracting.

• Maintenance & Seasonal: Appliance Repair, Landscaping, Tree Services, Holiday Lighting, and Snow Plowing.

7. How do I customize the AI Estimator for my specific category? 

Under the Settings tab , you can select specific "Job Types." This tells the AI which service categories to focus on to provide more accurate, industry-specific estimates.

8. What is Estimate Conversion? 

Once Kate AI generates a draft, you can turn it into a formal Estimate with a single click. This removes the need to re-enter data manually.

9. Where can I see my existing AI-generated jobs? 

All activity is displayed in the AI Estimates tab. Here you can see:

• Drafts: Estimates that are pending review.

• Converted: Estimates that have been turned into active jobs.

10. What information is tracked in the AI Estimates dashboard? 

The dashboard provides a high-level view of:

• Job Name and Date

• Customer Name and Estimate Number

• Status (e.g., Converted)

• Total Estimate Amount

• Upsell Value: The additional revenue suggested or captured by the AI.

11. How does Kate AI Estimator help win more jobs?
