1. What is the Google Calendar Connector in Markate?

The Google Calendar Connector allows you to automatically export and sync your events from Markate to your Google Calendar so you can manage schedules in one place.

2. Is the Google Calendar integration free?

Yes, the connector is available for free within Markate.

3. How do I connect my Google Calendar?

Go to:
More→ Connectors → Google Calendar → Manage

Then:

• Select your Google account
• Choose the calendar (e.g., “Markate”)
• Click Save

4. Can I choose which calendar to sync with?

Yes. During setup, you can select a specific Google Calendar where your Markate events will be exported.

5. What type of data is exported to Google Calendar?

Currently, the connector exports:

• Scheduled events
• Work Order Schedules
• Tasks
• Blocked events

6. Does the sync happen automatically?

Events can be synced when you click Export Calendar, and depending on configuration, updates may continue syncing automatically.

7. What does “Events Exported” mean?

This shows:

• Total: Number of events processed
• Synced: Successfully exported events
• Failed: Events that couldn’t be synced

8. How can I check if my events synced successfully?

Click View Sync Log to see:

• Event names
• Sync status
• Dates
• Any errors (if present)

9. What should I do if some events failed to sync?

Check the Errors tab in the sync log. Common fixes include:

• Reconnecting your Google account
• Verifying calendar permissions
• Re-running the export

10. Can I disconnect my Google Calendar?

Yes. Click Disconnect under Google Calendar Status. This will stop all future syncing.

11. Will changes in Google Calendar sync back to Markate?

No. The integration is one-way:

• Markate → Google Calendar
  Changes made in Google Calendar will not update Markate.

12. Can I export events again if something was missed?

Yes. You can click Export Calendar anytime to re-sync events.

13. Is my data secure when using this connector?

Yes. The integration uses secure authentication with your Google account and only accesses necessary calendar data.

14. Why don’t I see my events in Google Calendar?

Possible reasons:

• Wrong calendar selected
• Sync not triggered
• Authorization expired
