To enable Proposal Kit, Refer article- Enable Proposal Kit : Markate Academy 

Below are the steps to Customize the Proposal Template:

• Go to Proposal Kit list
• Find the kit that suits your business
• Click Manage > Edit

• Edit Proposal Template Name
• Click Continue

Here is an example how you can edit the Proposal Template's sections:

Main page: 

1. Please note that the Logo will be fetched automatically from your Business Profile on Markate.

2. If you want to set a different logo for the proposal estimate, double click the Logo section to add logo > Drop the Logo image or click to upload it > In case of multiple images, click the image you want to upload as shown in below image:

3. Similarly, double click on background image and upload a new image.

4. Double click on the Proposal Template Name to edit it

5. Double click on the Placeholder to replace an existing placeholder.

Introduction:

1. The placeholders fetch values automatically when the estimate is sent to the customer.

2. Double click in the text area to edit it. It should not be adjusted by dragging or extending.

Credentials:

1.  Double click on the credentials images to upload your own credentials' images.

Photos: 

1. Double click on the image to upload new image similar to the Logo on Main page.

2. To add any element such as image, text or a link: Click Window icon on top right > Drag and drop to the place where you want to fit on the template. Example is shown in the image below:

Videos: 

1. To replace the video, click the existing video, click Settings icon on top right, select Provider from the dropdown eg: Youtube, Vimeo etc. then enter Video ID.

2. Find the Video ID in your youtube video link like this, 

3. To add another video: Click Window icon on top right > Drag and drop Video element to the place where you want to fit it on the Videos Page of the template > Click Import icon on top > Enter the embed video code in Import frame > Click Import. Example is shown in the image below:

Testimonials:

1. Business name will be fetched automatically from your business profile on Markate.

2. Double click on the testimonials text to edit the existing ones. 

Pricing:

1. Estimate Placeholder is where the Estimate will be fetched automatically. So, let it remain as it is. 

Service Agreement:

1. On this page, you can list the services you provide by just double clicking where you want to type.

Next Step: 

1. E Signature verification will be inserted automatically so it need not be edited.

2. Click Preview to see how it will be visible to the customers

3. Click Save to save the changes made in the template.

Change the sequence of pages:

On the left panel, 

1. Change the sequence of sections using first icon. Simple drag and drop.

2. Edit the title of the section using second icon. Click the icon > edit the title and save it.

3. Hide/Unhide the section using third icon.

Preview on different devices:

1. Click on the device type on top left you would like to see the preview

Edit the submitted estimate:

1. Go to Proposal Kit > Proposals

2. Go to the Submitted Estimate > click Manage and then Edit

3. Make necessary changes and click Save.

4. Click on Estimate ID to navigate to the particular estimate to view the changes or Customer View

5. Click Customer View to see the changes or simply how the template is viewed by your customer.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

1. 'Main Page' and 'View Proposal' button SHOULD NOT be deleted or hidden else customers will not be able to access the proposal.

2. If deleted mistakenly then click the reset button immediately to undo the deletion as shown in the below image:

3. Make sure that the image is of high quality 1200x800 pixels

4. Make sure not to adjust the settings until you have enough experience in editing

5. The page can be reset by simply clicking the reset icon as shown in the image below.
