1. What is an Email Blast feature?

An email blast is a mass email campaign sent to multiple recipients at once. It is used for marketing, promotions, announcements, or updates to engage customers efficiently. 

Email blast comes under marketing features and helps businesses reach their audience quickly.



2. Where can I access the Email Blast feature? 

You can access the Email Blast feature by logging into your Markate account. Simply navigate to the Marketing section, where you'll find the Email Blast option. 



Creating an Email Campaign 


3. How do I create an Email Campaign? 

To create an email campaign, log in to your Markate account and go to Marketing > Email Blast. Click the "Create Email Blast" button and follow the steps to set up your campaign. 



4. Who can I send email blasts to?

You can send emails to all customers, a specific customer group and individually as well.



5. How much does an email blast cost?

The cost is $10.00 per 2,000 emails.



6. Can I personalize my email campaigns?

Yes! Markate’s marketing platform allows you to create professional and personalized email campaigns for better engagement.



7. How do I customize my email content?

You can create the email body, use "Placeholder Tags" to automatically insert customer-specific details and and attach files (PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG, JPG, GIF).



8. Can I add a weblink or html template in the email?

Definitely! you can add weblinks and html templates in your campaigning emails.



9. Can I exclude some customers from an Email Blast?
Yes. You can exclude specific Customer Groups while sending to all customers with email.



Scheduling & Sending 


10. Can I schedule the email campaign?

Yes, you can set a specific date and time for sending your email campaign, but it must be at least 24 hours after creation.



11. How do I finalize and send the campaign?

After reviewing all details, press "Purchase" to complete payment and send the emails.



Tracking & Approval 


12. Can I track the campaign performance? 

Yes, after the campaign is completed, you can view stats such as Opened, Clicked, Bounced, Unsubscribed and Total recipients.

  • Opened emails: An opened email marks the first step toward user action. Tracking opens helps refine engagement by identifying interest in your emails. 

  • Clicked links: A click shows strong engagement. Tracking clicks helps refine emailing and improve user interaction. 

  • Bounced emails: Bounced emails happen when email addresses are incorrect or outdated. Removing these helps ensure emails reach the right people. 

  • Unsubscribed users: Unsubscribed emails occur when recipients opt out of emails. Removing these ensures your emails reach only engaged users. 

  • Total recipients



13. Why is my email campaign in "Pending Review"?

All email campaigns go through an approval process before being sent to ensure compliance and quality.



14. How long does the approval process take?

The approval process typically takes 1-3 hours during business hours. If you submit your campaign for approval during the weekend, it will be reviewed and approved on Monday.
