How to setup Ask for Review feature

Automatically sending Ask for Reviews requests are an excellent way to save time, boost your rating and gain more work with positive reviews from your customer!


 Add-Ons are charged at the beginning of the Month. If you purchase Add-Ons midway through the month, you will be charged again at the beginning of the month. Yearly memberships pay for the remaining membership months up front.

  

How to setup Ask for Review feature

To enable, go to More > Add-On’s and press the “OFF” button to “ON” to enable, and press “Manage” to set up. 
 You can disable by turning back to “OFF” at any time.




On the "Settings" screen you can enter or paste the URL's for the review service platforms you use.  They will appear in the review as a clickable button. Depending on the review site, your customer might need to log into their account, and confirm that they have left a review for it to be posted. 

If you click on the "Notification Log" text, you will see the history of all the reviews sent.  



After inserting your links, you can edit the "Review Landing Page" This is the message your customers will see when they receive the link to review. This can be done here, or in Settings > Email / SMS Templates.

Next, you will choose a trigger on when the review is sent; After an "Invoice is marked as paid" or "Work Order is marked as completed" and then up to 3 notifications and how soon you want them sent. 






You can edit the notification messages by clicking the links or going to Settings > Email / SMS Templates. 


If you have a high number of repeat customers you can choose to notify a customer only one time automatically. 

You can choose to Auto Request Google Review if your customer has a Google account. 

It's recommended to uncheck "Show Markate Review Link" if you have an existing review site, as the Markate Profile page is for Pros who do not have an existing website, or review site and reviews cannot be transferred. 


"Save" when you are done.
