1. What is the Lead Contact Form, and why should I use it?
The Lead Contact Form helps potential customers easily contact you by submitting their details (like name, phone number, and inquiry). It improves communication and lets your team respond quickly to service requests.
2. How do I enable and access the Lead Contact Form?
Log in to your Markate account.
Go to More > Add-ons, and toggle Lead Contact Form ON.
Click Lead Contact Form on the left panel to customize it.
3. How do I customize the form fields?
In the form customization area:
Form Fields: Add/edit fields like Email, Address, etc.
Visible Column: Choose which fields are shown. (Name and Phone are always visible.)
Required Column: Select which fields must be filled in before submission.
You can also allow customers to upload up to 5 images (PNG, JPG, or GIF) by enabling the Upload Images option.
4. Can I add custom questions or field types?
Yes. Use field types like:
Dropdowns
Radio Buttons
Checkboxes
Click the option, enter your field/question in the popup, add choices (if needed), and click Add Field.
5. What appearance and settings options are available?
You can:
Customize the look of the form
Enable Accept Terms and add your Terms & Conditions
Preview the form in real time
Click Save Contact Form once setup is complete
6. How do I set up notifications and tracking?
Under the Settings tab:
Enable Email/App Notifications for new leads
Set the Confirmation Page URL (where customers go after submitting)
Add your Website URL (where the form is embedded)
Enter your Google Analytics V4 Tracking ID
Click Save to apply your settings.
7. How do I integrate the form into my website?
Under the Website Integration tab:
Copy the JavaScript or iFrame Code
Paste it into your website where you want the form displayed
Or copy the Contact Page URL to share via email, text, or social media
Click View Contact Page to preview how it looks to customers
8. How do I use Google Analytics with my Lead Contact Form?
Once your Google Analytics V4 Tracking ID is added in the Settings tab:
The code is automatically embedded in all related pages: Products, Calendar, Form, and Confirmation.
In GA, filter by the confirmation page URL to track successful submissions.
You’ll also see traffic from URLs like:
https://www.markate.com/public/widget/booking/
9. What if I don’t see traffic data in Google Analytics?
Double-check that your GA tag ID (e.g.,
G-E1E6DW...
) is correctly entered in the Online Booking settings pageConfirm it matches the tag from your Google Analytics dashboard
