1. What is the "Bring Your Own Virtual Number" (BYVN) Add-on?
The BYVN Add-on allows you to use your existing Twilio number with Markate for two-way-texting, forward calls, SMS and call customers.
2. Can I use both a Virtual Number and BYVN at the same time? No, you cannot have both a Virtual Number and BYVN enabled simultaneously. You must choose one option at a time.

3. What is required to log in to my Twilio account for BYVN setup?
To activate BYVN, you need the following information from your Twilio account:
Twilio API Account SID
Twilio API Auth Token
4. How do I activate the BYVN Add-on in Markate?
Follow these steps to activate BYVN:
Go to More > Add-On's > BYVN in Markate.
Enter your Twilio API Account SID and API Auth Token.
Select your phone number from the drop-down menu and save.
SMS functionality will be automatically enabled.
5. Can I use any provider other than Twilio for BYVN?
No, this feature is exclusively compatible with Twilio.
Call Forwarding & Logs
6. How do I set up call forwarding with BYVN?
To set up call forwarding:
Click Setup in the Call Forwarding section.
Choose the number you want to forward calls to.
Follow the prompts to save your settings.
7. Where can I find the logs for messages and calls?
You can view logs for messages and calls at the top of the BYVN screen in Markate. This helps you track communication activity.
8. What is the "Click to Call" feature, and how do I use it?
The "Click to Call" feature allows you to call customers directly from your browser. Simply follow the prompts in the BYVN setup to enable and start using this feature.
Compliance & Twilio Integration
9. What happens if I don't register for 10DLC compliance?
If you do not register for 10DLC compliance and campaign registration, your SMS may be filtered and not delivered to recipients.
10. How do I select my Twilio phone number during setup?
After entering your Twilio credentials in Markate, you will see a drop-down menu with your available Twilio phone numbers. Select the desired number and save to proceed.
11. Are SMS automatically enabled after connecting my Twilio number?
Yes, SMS functionality is automatically enabled once you connect your Twilio number to Markate.
