Arrival Window Notifications

Arrival Window Notifications can be sent via email and SMS (text message). If you want to customize the Arrival Window notification text that goes out to the Customer, you can modify its Template.


The default templates include messaging that includes the Arrival Window text so no changes are required to get started.


IMPORTANT: If you have previously customized your Notification Template, you will need to add the required placeholder text manually in order for your notifications to include the Arrival Window information.


To modify the Notification Template, click Settings >

 

Choose Email/SMS Templates from the left window. 


  • For email templates, Select the template you would like to change. In this case, we will select Create Appointment under Schedule.


  • For SMS (Text Message) templates, choose the SMS Templates tab, then Select the template you would like to change. We will select Create Appointment under Schedule.




You will need to have the following placeholder in your template to show the Arrival Window.


{{event.arrival_window_text_block}}


To add the placeholder you can type it manually or place your cursor where you want the text to be added, choose Insert Placeholders, and select Arrival Window Block to add it to the template.





Don't worry, if you make a mistake and need to start again, you can always reset to the default template which includes the Arrival Window placeholder.
