Create a Change Order for Work Order on Desktop

If you are on a job and your customer or you need to add additional line items, use a change order to send the newly added items to your customer to approve and sign before you continue work.

To create a Change Order, first open an existing Work Order and press the "Change Order" button. 

Then you will add the additional items that you need for the Change Order.

Choose if you want to "Approve" the Change Order on behalf of the customer, or Send for Approval if you want the customer to accept the changes before continuing the job. 

Once you have submitted, you can see the changes on the WO, and the Change Order at the bottom. If you approved for them it will say approved. 

If you are waiting for them to accept, you will see the items as Pending Approval. 

*** Note You will not be able to invoice, until the WO Change Order has been accepted. ***

If you need to approve a Pending Change order on behalf of your customers, you can view the WO and press More > Share WO Link. Then you can View as a customer and accept.
