Add and Manage your Employees

A step-by-step guide to add your employees, assign roles and access to them and manage them:

  • Login to your Markate account.

  • Hover over your Name credentials and click 'My Account'



  • Go to 'Membership' tab from left side panel

  • Click 'Add more employees



  • Next, on 'Add Employees' page, select number of employees from the dropdown you would like to add.
  • Click 'Pay Now' button.



  • You will be redirected to the Purchase Add-On page where you can add your card details and make a payment by clicking 'Purchase' button



  • Once payment is done, you will receive Order Confirmation. 
  • Verify the purchase.



  • Now, hover over More > click Add-Ons
  • On Add-ons page, go to Employees section and click 'Manage'



  • You will be redirected to the Employees page.
  • There you can see the number of Employee you can add as per your purchase.
  • Click '+New Employee' to add an employee.



  • Now, fill the Employee details on 'New Employee' form.
  • You can also upload Employee picture in gif, jpg or png format



  • You can assign the role to the Employee, on that basis- the Employee would be able to access the features and data on App and Website.
  • Set Calendar Color- Suppose you set Green color for Employee A, then on Schedule Calendar, all events assigned to Employee A will be appear in Green. It helps is differentiating the events/schedule for different Employees.



  • Enter about Employee in 'About' section
  • Mark Email, SMS/Text, Send Next Day Appointments checkboxes according to how you want the Employee to receive notifications about their schedule assignment and other actions.
  • Click '+Additional Information'



  • Enter all the details which are necessary and applicable to the Employee such as Pay Type, Pay Rate etc.
  • Click 'Save & Continue'



  • Next, it navigates to 'App Permission' tab.
  • Here, you can mark the checkboxes to give permission to your Employee. For Example: If an Employee can View all the Customers, mark 'View All Customers' checkbox and so on.
  • Save the changes.



  • Next is 'Employee Access
  • Set a Password for your Employee with which the Employee will login to his/her Markate account.
  • Click 'Save & Continue'



  • Once all information or changes are saved, it navigates to the 'Confirmation' tab, where your Employee can login to the Markate System using registered Phone number/Email as shown in the image below and the password you set for your Employee.
  • Clicking on 'View Employee' button navigates to the Employee Profile page.



  • Here, you can still make changes for your Employee by clicking respective buttons shown in the image below.
  • To change the Employee status from Active to Suspended or Change the Password, click Settings.



  • On Employee Settings, you can change Employee status to Active/Suspended or change the Password.
  • Click Save.



  • To inactivate or delete an Employee, hover over More and click the respective option.
