- Hover over More > Click Connectors
- Go to QuickBooks and click Manage
The QuickBooks Online Connector comes with the Membership purchase. No need to pay extra!
- Click 'Connect to QuickBooks'
- It will navigate you to the QuickBooks login page
- Next, login to your QuickBooks account.
- Once you are Logged in, your QBO account will be Connected to your Markate account and,
- You will be redirected to your Markate account to continue with QuickBooks Settings
- Next, click QuickBooks from left panel
- It will now allow you to Import your QuickBooks Online data to your Markate account and Export Markate data to your QuickBooks account.
How to Import your QuickBooks Online Data to Markate?
Markate imports the following data from QuickBooks:
- Customers
- Invoices
- Expenses
- Estimates
To import QuickBooks Online Data to Markate:
- Go to Import Section
- Mark all the checkboxes under the Import section if you want to import all the data from QBO to Markate.
- If you want to import only Customers then mark only 'Import Customers' checkbox and so on.
- Then, click 'Sync with QuickBooks' button.
- Next, Click View Sync Log to check the imported data.
- It will redirect you to the Quickbooks Sync Log.
- To view the Sync Log, go to 'All' tab and select Import from the 'Action' filter.
- Here, both Successful as well as unsuccessful log is available
- Go to the next tab 'Imported/Exported' and select Import from the 'Action' filter to see only successful import log.
How to manually push information to QBO when needed i.e. Exporting your Markate data to QuickBooks Online?
Markate exports the following data to QuickBooks:
- Customers
- Invoices
- Expenses
- Estimates
To Export Markate data to QuickBooks Online:
- Go to Export Section
- Mark all the checkboxes under the Export section if you want to Export all the data from Markate to QBO .
- If you want to Export only Customers then mark only 'Export Customers' checkbox and so on.
If you want to Export all the Invoices except those which are partially paid or deposit amount invoices, then mark 'Ignore Partial Paid Invoices (deposit)' checkbox.
- Then, click 'Sync with QuickBooks' button.
- Next, Click View Sync Log to check the Exported data.
- Syncing data shows progress as shown in the image below.
Syncing all data might take up to 5 to 10 minutes
- Once the Sync process has been completed,
- Scroll down to view the Imported/Exported table for Resource, Total count, Synced- successful and Failed count.
- Click View Sync Log button to go to the QB Sync Log page
- Also, scroll to the bottom to view the Sync History
- Once the Sync process has been completed, you will also get notified via email about the same.
- Click 'View the Details Online' link in the email to get redirected to the Quickbooks page on Markate.
How are updates exported from Markate to QBO?
- Go to Quickbooks tab > Click Settings
- On QuickBooks Settings page,
- Mark 'Export Updates to QuickBooks'
- Click 'Save Changes'
- Now, whenever you click 'Sync with QuickBooks' to sync data manually, all the changes made on Markate resources (Customers, Invoices, Estimates and Expenses) will be overwritten on QuickBooks resources and your data will be same on both.
How is information synced from Markate to QBO automatically?
- Go to Auto Export to QuickBooks section,
- Mark the checkboxes which you want to export automatically whenever you create or update Customers, Invoices, Estimates and Expenses
- Click 'Save Changes'
How to export Draft Invoices from Markate to QBO manually?
- Go to 'Export Draft Invoices' section
- Mark the checkbox 'Export draft invoices'
- Click 'Save Changes'
- Now, whenever you click 'Sync with QuickBooks' to sync data manually, all the draft invoices will be exported to the QuickBooks.
How to disconnect your QuickBooks Online account to Markate?
Simply click 'Disconnect' button on QuickBooks page.
